Abstract:
The construction of ecological security patterns is an important initiative of China's ecological civilization construction strategy, with the primary function of maintaining the health and stability of the ecosystem. Constructing an ecological security pattern for nature reserves, with national parks as the mainstay, is a prerequisite for guaranteeing their coordinated development with the surrounding socio-economic development belt, and building a cornerstone for national ecological security and the realization of sustainable economic and social development. This paper took the protection and development belt of Wuyishan National Park, a typical national park nature reserve in southeastern China, as the research object, identified the ecological source based on the evaluation of the importance of ecological protection, extracted the potential ecological corridors relying on the minimal cumulative resistance model(MCR), and then constructed the ecological security pattern. The results showed that: ①the area of extremely important ecosystem service function in the protection and development belt of Wuyishan National Park is 5262.23 km
2, accounting for 42.35% of the total area of the study area; the overall ecosystem sensitivity of the region is weak, and the area of extremely sensitive area only accounts for 1.67% of the total area of the study area. ②the protection and development belt around the Wuyishan National Park and its districts and counties in the ecological source area of 4867.76 km
2, accounting for 42.35% of the total area of the study area, the main distribution of the Wuyishan National Park, Wujunshan National Forest Nature Park in Guangze City, the northern Yunlingshan Tourism Zone, the southwestern Jiangshi Nature Reserve, the Wanfengshan Provincial Forest Park and the Turtle Valley Provincial Forest Nature Park in Shaowu City, Huanglongyan Provincial Nature Reserve in the northern part of Wuyishan City, Anshan Provincial Forest Nature Park, Jinfengshan Provincial Forest Nature Park in Jianyang City and other places. ③Identified 18 ecological corridors with a total length of 781.86 km, with Wuyishan National Park as the core, characterized by a grid-like spatial distribution. ④ Proposed the ecological security pattern of "two cores, three screens, multiple points, and multiple corridors" in the protection and development belt around Wuyishan National Park and its districts and counties. The results of the study can provide an important reference for the construction and optimization of the ecological security pattern of the nature reserves, with national parks as the main body.
