Introduction: Research of Environmental Sciences is a comprehensive academic journal supervised by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences. It is a national-level journal. The journal was founded in 1988, has been changed from bimonthly to monthly since 2009, and is now open for distribution at home and abroad. In 2022, it was selected as a T1 level in the Grading Catalogue of High-Quality Science and Technology Journals in Environmental Sciences. It was entitled as the Excellent International Impact Academic Journal of China for five times. In 2011, it was awarded the title of ‘China Excellence Science and Technology Journal’ and the Third National Top 100 Science and Technology Journals (2017 China Top 100 Newspapers and Journals) in 2017, and it has been continuously selected in the World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Report of Scientific and Technological Periodicals in 2021 and 2021.
Mission and Objective: To publish timely reports reflecting new trends in the development of environmental science at home and abroad, new theories, new technologies, and new methods in the field of environmental science, with the goal of promoting the development of environmental science, and report on the investigation and analysis of major regional environmental problems at home and abroad, the latest trends in national environmental policy-making and management, new research results and hot issues in the field of environmental science at home and abroad.
