Abstract:
In order to clarify the sources and characteristics of atmospheric ammonia emissions in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province, the activity level data of each emission source were collected, and the emission factor method was used to compile the ammonia emission inventory of the region in 2017. The results show that: (1) The ammonia emission of the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province in 2017 was 44.92×10
3 t, and the emission intensity was 2.80 t/km
2. (2) Agriculture was the largest ammonia emission source in the study region. Livestock and farmland ecosystem accounted for 81.07% and 7.12% of the total emissions respectively, and sheep, cow and beef cattle were the main emission sources of livestock. (3) Huangzhong District and Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County were the largest ammonia emission districts, accounting for 53.7% of the total emission, livestock was the main ammonia emission source of Chengzhong District, Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Huangzhong District, Huangyuan County, Ping'an District, Ledu District, Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County and Huzhu Tu Autonomous County. (4) The distribution of emission sources was affected by topography, mostly along the Huangshui River Basin, and was also related to the level of regional economic development. The results show that livestock is the main ammonia emission source in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province, and Huangzhong District and Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County are the main areas of ammonia emissions.
