Abstract: The paper is about research on the composition oxidation pond in the subtropical region which include the multistage system of uptlow anaerobic pond, facultative pond with aquatic plants and aerobic pond . The research focuses on observing performance of the system, obtaining the design parametar of the process, and deriving empirical equation for design. The paper indicates that aerobic ponds is unsuitable for being loaded with effluent from secondary treatment processes.
