Abstract: Based on a list of 37 chemicals collected in China and other foreign countries.the sifting procedures and scoring system of potentially toxic chemicals in China have been investigated.According to 9 environmental indexes and 7 toxic indexes,including 16 parameters.the compositely hazardous rates of the toxic chemicals have been determined using fuzzy mathematical method to rank their hazardous extents.As a result of the study,a list of 52 priority controlled toxic chemiacals was decided to provide effective scientific basis for appropriate management strategies of chemicals to be adopted.
