Abstract: Transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffraction were used to study airborne particulates collected in Chongqing, Sichuan Province, which are seriously damaged by acid rain. From the results of TEM arid XRD, the informations including surface state, component and compounds could be obtained. Therefore, some conclusions can also be obtained on the formation of acid rain based on these results.
