Abstract: This paper describes the analysis of the development trends of energy consumption struc-ture and atmospheric environmental pollution of Qinhuangdao city.The environmental quality and en-ergy structure of 2000 and 2010 in Qinhuangdao city are predicted respectively,then several optionsincluding energy structure improvement,briquette popularization and cleaner production practice toreduce energy consumption in industry are suggested,and the resulting effects on atmospheric pollution control are discussed.
