Abstract: This paper discusses the method of determining partition coefficients of non-ionic toxic organic compounds between soil (or sediment, plant) and water by studying 8 kinds of non-ionic toxic organic compounds in the environment. The results show that the partition coefficients relate only with the characteristics of itself and have no relationship to environmental media.
