Abstract: Inorganic salts can leach from lanfill site of incineration residues. Because of the increase of the landfill in Japan, the concentration of inorganic salts at landfill area has been becoming higher. This paper studied the effects of chloric and iron ions on the determinations of BOD and COD. Reasonable determination methods were discussed.
