Abstract: The optimal technological conditions for extracting lignin in paper-mill black liquor by acidification have been proposed in this paper. Large amount of organic substances may he removed after acidification of the black liquor, which helps to reduce the pollution. And it is cost-effective from the recovered lignin. The suggested method is shown to be a feasible way to control the small-scale papermill wastewater.
