Abstract: A kind of watertreatment agent with floatation/bactericide multi-function was synthesized. Its synthesizing conditions were discussed, and the performance of floatation and bactericide was evaluated. The main component of the agent is a polyether with ammonium group, which is made up of alcohol, epoxy chloropropane and triamine. The experiments showed that the agent simultaneously has both floatation and bactericide function. When its dosage is 1～5 mg/L, both its oil removal ratio and suspended sohd removal ratio are more than 95% ; and it has high efficient bactericide capability to kill SRB, FB, and TGB. It can be used in a wide pH range of 4～10.
