Abstract: Orifice flowmeter was calibrated by Roots flowmeter, and the offset pressure, a negative pressure, was corrected by temperature and atmospheric pressure. The calibration curve, which shows that the relation between flow fate and offset pressure, was modified as a line and its precision was assessed. The main sources of the orifice flowrate’ uncertainty were discussed, and then the theory basis for the precision control was provided.
