Abstract: The recent development of applying Ultraviolet radiation(UV)for water disinfecting process,the advantages of low-pressure multiple lamp UV designs and several problems to be studied further was briefly described.It is expected that UV disinfecting process could be take the place of chlorinating disinfecting process and be widely used in water disinfecting treatment.
