Abstract: Product Life Cycle Design is proposed to meet the needs of reducing total environmental impacts while satisfying other customer criteria under the force of sustainable development of society. It integrates pollution prevention and resource conservation strategies into the development of more ecologically and economically sustainable product system. Product Life Cycle Design basics, design strategies and design requirements were mainly analyzed, and how to promote it in the industries was discussed.
