Abstract: The application of bioaugmentation in wastewater treatment is briefed and its effects evaluated.The mechanism of bioaugmentation,selection of bioaugmentation agents,dynamics of reaction and the optimum design of a bioaugmentation system are also discussed.Bioaugmentation is a highly efficient biotechnology and has a bright future in wastewater treatment.
