Abstract: The annual variation of precipitation acidity and acid rain frequency in the Pearl River Delta region was analyzed,based on the regular precipitation monitoring data of main cities in the region.The results show that the region's acid rain pollution is still serious and mainly of sulphuric acid type.The precipitation acidity is related to SO2 pollution and other factors.The acid rain hazard was also simply explored.
