Abstract:
The electrocoagulation and floatation method was applied for the treatment of 3 oilfield sewage. It was found that the oil and SS removal rates of oilrefinery sewage were respectively 96% and 97%, the turbidity and COD removal rates of dirll sewage were respectively 96.8% and 97.5%, and the turbidity and oil removal rates of oil recovery sewage were respectively 96.1% and 100%.All the above indicators are far below the national comprehensive standards on wastewater discharge. In addition to its obvious effectiveness for oilfield sewage treatment, the electrocoagulation and floatation method requires simple facilities, with high resistance to impact and simple operations, without additional chemical agents and thus additional agentadding equipments, and easy to realize management modernization.
