Abstract: A new method for developing air SO2 reference material was introduced, with the focus on the examination of homogeneity and stability of the samples as well as the certification of the samples. The reference material has good homogeneity and stability with a stable period of 3 a up. It has been widely applied in China’s environment monitoring and approved as state environmental reference material.
