Abstract: The overalll design of comprehensive treatment options for Fuxian Lake was presented, based on the identification of the main lake environmental problems and in view of the whole lake catchment. On the base of this and according to the environmental protection objectives in the lake, the pollution characteristics of the key control areas in the catchment and the total amount control of the main pollutants, the planning options of the comprehensive treatment of Fuxian Lake catchment were suggested.
