Abstract: The characteristics of the papermaking industry and the reason and current situation of the pollution were given.Six black liquor treatment techniques,including alkali recovery method,as well as middle liquor treatment techniques were briefly analyzed.Preliminary technical evaluation of discharge in compliance with the standards for small-scale straw pulp mills was also performed.
