Abstract: Environmental information disclosure is a new instrument for environmental management after command and control and market-based instruments in the current environmental management.The instrument will put pressure on polluters for them to improve their environmental performance by strengthening public participation and supervision through disclosure of environmental information.The paper first briefly describes the role and classification of environmental information disclosure,then focuses on the design principles,methods and procedure for environmental information disclosure of enterprises,followed by detailed analysis and explanation with a case study of enterprise environmental information disclosure in Huhhot of Inner Mongolia.
