Abstract:
Honeycomb-shaped active carbon was prepared and first applied in organic pollution control technique for large airflow capacity. It has large adsorption ability and low resistance. By its concentrating adsorption, large flow and low concentration of organic waste gas were changed to smaller flow and higher concentration. The latter was passed into catalytic combustion chamber to convert into carbon dioxide and water, which could maintain self-burning. Compared to traditional technology, this technology has the advantages of high purification efficiency, no residual waste generation, and low maintenance costs.
