Abstract: Collection and analysis of industrial residential and maricultural pollution sources were systematically carried out for Jiaozhou Bay. The intensity and distribution of major pollution sources for the marine environment were given. On the basis of three-dimensional (3-D) simulation of tidal current, a 3-D model of transportation and diffusion of conservative pollutants was built and applied. The model was verified by observations of COD distribution.
