Abstract:
TiO
2 was used as catalyst, made in the form of film and fixed on the inner wall of the stainless-steel photoreactor. The 9-W low-voltage mercury lamp was applied as light sources and Fenton agent introduced to perform pharmaceutical wastewater treatment at one pharmaceutical factory in Wuhan City. The resulted decoloration rate was 100%, with COD
Cr removal rate of 92.3%. Content of nitrobenzene compounds was reduced from 8.05 mg/L to 0.41 mg/L. Various factors affecting photodegradation were discussed.
