Abstract: The author introduces the basic monitoring methods of vehicle emission pollution(idle state method,driving cycle method,measuring method for emission from gasoline engine,free acceleration method for diesel engine and measuring method for smoke at full load from automotive diesel engine etc.).Meanwhile,major monitoring methods utilized in Europe,America and Japan are introduced as well.In addition,indirect monitoring methods such as highway tunnel method are also discussed.
