Abstract: The mathematical method of the area source models that were usually used for atmospheric environment simulation in China was reviewed and a new concept,reversed diffusion parameter of area sources,was developed.It makes different reversions of diffusion parameters possible and the simulation more accurate by using the reversed diffusion parameter of area sources concept.Examples and the computer program were given in this paper.
