Abstract: Wastewater released from mechanical repair industry contains high concentrations of oil,soap,active cleanser and other components that are extremely difficult to remove,isolate and treat.This study serves to provide a solution to this problem where demulsification and cleanser recovery technology is proposed for the treatment of such wastewater.The technical route chosen and operational parameters are based on several trials and tests conducted at laboratory and pilot plant levels.
