Abstract:
Different scenarios of Guiyang,Guizhou and Southwestern China as a whole for SO
2 control of Guiyang City have been simulated using a complex regional air quantity/acid deposition model CHAQM.The simulation results show that the large point sources (LPSs) of Guizhou Province contribute most to the acid deposition at Guiyang. The local power stations contribute some to local concentration of SO
2 and little to the concentration of sulfate and deposition.Based on above findings,a control strategy for Guiyang City to control acid deposition has been suggested.
