Abstract:
Technique situation of removal of SO
2 and NO
x is described,and conclusions as follows were drawn through analysis and comparison.The investment and running cost of SO
2 removal in wet method is high and its byproducts are useless;on the contrary,the cost of SO
2 removal by use of electron beam is 20%~30% lower than that in wet method,but strict and giant radiation defensive facilities are needed with expensive accelerator and energy loss is great.Also it is suggested that SO
2 in flue gas can be oxidized and solid particles of (NH
4)
2SO
4 are generated by using strong barring dielectric discharge which is hopeful to resolve the pollution of SO
2 and NO
x in China.
