Abstract: Tidal flat is a location with complicated and unsettled physical,chemical and biological conditions.In this special environment,heavy metals have very particular geochemical behaviors and bioavailability.The past research results in this field were reviewed,and weak links and future development directions pointed out,aiming at promoting further study in this field.
