Abstract: Based on a qualitative analysis of the present land use characteristics of the urban districts of Shuangcheng Town,the sustainable land use was quantitatively evaluated.The linear weighted function was chosen to evaluate the state of sustainable land use in the urban districts of Shuangcheng Town in 1992,1997 and 2000.In view of above obstacles,some practical measures of sustainable land use were identified.
