Abstract: Based on the available observation data from 65 meteorological stations in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region in 1954 to 2002,the climate change characteristics of dust-storms in this area have been analyzed.It was shown that the most part of this area is easily influenced area of dust-storms,the altiplano in the north of Hebei Province is easy and high incidence area,and the area of Dingzhou and Raoyang is easy incidence area.Dust-storms mostly happen from noon to dusk,with more in the spring and less in the autumn.The frequency of dust-storms is with the trend of decreasing in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region,with similar trend but different degree of decreasing in different areas of the region.
