Abstract:
The adsorption capability of nitric oxide(NO)on various metal ion-containing ZSM-5 was examined by a fixed bed flow adsorption apparatus. It is found that Cu and Co-containing ZSM-5 is the best in the adsorption capability of NO among various transition metal and cobalt ion-containing ZSM-5; when copper nitrate and cobalt nitrate are impregnated together, copper nitrate and cobalt nitrate ratio is 0.8, and Al2O3 (bond) amounts reach 23%, Co and Cu-containing ZSM-5 shows both the greatest capability and intensity. Beside, with increasing adsorption temperature, the breakthrough time decreased. In addition, thermogravimetric analysis was used to study the thermo-regeneration problem of adsorbent.
