Abstract:
Baogang, a steel group, was studied to demonstrate the application of circular economy in construction of eco-industrial park (EIP). Firstly the main problems in Baogang and its surrounding area were analyzed and, on the base of it, a framework of Baogang EIP was constructed from the aspects of design of system structure, eco-industrial mode and eco-industrial chains, and network coupling of different industries. The framework can fully embody the circular economy idea of "resource-product-waste recycling". Finally, the authors put forward the suggestion of applying cleaner production management instrument to speed up ecological transformation of Baogang EIP.
