Abstract:
Advanced catalytic oxidation method for organic industrial wastewater degradation was investigated by using cinder added active materials as catalyst and H
2O
2 as oxidant. Results indicated that the method shows high proficiency in catalytic oxidizing organic industrial wastewater.Under the conditions of ρ(H
2O
2)/ρ(COD
Cr )=0.6, pH=4, the degradation reaction completed within two hours with over 83% of COD
Cr removal. The catalyst is formed with cinder as carrier and FeSO
4, MnO
2, Al
2O
3 and SiO
2 as active materials.
