Abstract: The feasibility of the total emission control of NO_x in China was discussed covering the aspects of the control necessity, basic conditions and main focuses. Six items of advice were put forward, including further improving NO_x emission standards, carrying out total emission control at power plants, coordinating new emission control regulations for automobiles, developing green public traffic, limiting traffic flow of automobiles in urban areas, and carrying out researches on NO_x emission factors and emission control countermeasures, etc.
