Abstract:
The degradation effect of cyanobacteria by the combination of UV-C and N
2O
2 was studied.Anabaena sp.PCC7120 was chosen for experiment.The likely influencing factors,such as N
2O
2 dosage,pH,UV light intensities, and the reaction time on the degradation of Anabaena sp.PCC7120 were investigated. The result showed that UV-C and N
2O
2 have intensive oxidation ability to Anabaena sp.PCC7120.After 5 days, the elimination rate of Anabaena sp.PCC7120 was to reach 85% under the experimental conditions of N
2O
2 dosage 1(mmol/L,) reaction temperature(25 ℃,) pH 6.8,UV light intensity 0.54(mW/cm
2) and reaction time 20 minutes.UV-C technology and N
2O
2 were combined and used to an analog experiment for degradation of cyanobacteria in the condition of flowing. The degradation of cyanobacteria is obvious. The activity of SOD and POD in Anabaena sp.PCC7120 decreased greatly, and C-PC and Chl a were almost be degraded.
