Abstract: The urban wetland is the important part of urban eco-system and plays important roles in soil anti-erosion.The urban wetland of Songbei District of Harbin,which is in the north shore of the Songhua River,was researched and three samples in the west,middle and east part were set up.The value of reduction soil degradation,sediment deposition and nutrient loss of soil was calculated for anti-erosion of urban wetland soil of Songbei District of Harbin.The results indicated that the total value of the urban wetland protection soil is 1.900×10~7 yuan/a and that soil anti-erosion benefit value is one fifth of total value or 3.800×10~6 yuan/a.
