Abstract:
Dynamic biosorption of discarded and inactive-immobilized Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Pb
2+ in wastewater as well as kinetics and thermodynamics equations was studied. Under given situations, research on model could reveal the rule of biosorption process. The results indicated that thermodynamics models of Langmuir and Freundlich equations both conformed to the experiments and Langmuir model fitting effect was better with its relativity coefficient of 0.996 8 and maximum biosorption quantity 7.788 mg/g; kinetics equation Thomas model was adopted to the research with its relativity coefficient of 0.954 7, andthe optimal treatment efficiency could be achieved with C
0 and Q of 20 mg/Land 2 mL/min, respectively. By disposing wastewater containing heavy metals, discarded wastes might be treated and certain kinds of poisonous and noxious metals would be collected.
