Abstract: The basic conception of venous industry and venous industry based eco-industrial parks (EIPs) were introduced, and the essential significance of standard of venous industry based EIPs was pointed out. Four parts, including economic development, resources recycle, pollution control and park management, and altogether 20 items were chosen to form the index system for venous industry based EIPs, which can reflect the status of venous industry based EIPs completely and truly. The Analytical Hierarchy Process was taken as the method to calculate the weight of the index system. The results show that increasing recycle rate and ensuring environmental safety are the key points of venous industry based EIPs, and securing disposal of solid wastes is the key point of pollution controlling. Finally, according to the feasibility analysis for index system, it shows that the indexes of appraisal method are feasible in economy, technology and maneuverability. The appraised method is already used in constitution of Standard for Venous Industry Based Eco-industrial Parks in China.
