Abstract:
Cement industry is an important emission source which gives out dust and gaseouspollutants such as SO
2, NO
x, etc. The emissions of air pollutants includingdust, PM
10, PM
2.5, SO
2, NO
x, fluoride and CO of cement industry in China from 1995 to 2005 were estimated on the basis of technology status, productivity, removal efficiency of dust collectors and emission factors. The emissions inventory for different provinces and different technologies were also worked out. The result showed that emissions of air pollutants had a positive correlationwith the cement yield. Since 1995, emission of pollutants had increased rapidly〖JP2〗 in accompany with the increase in cement yield. In 2005, the emissions of dust,PM

2.5, SO
2, NO
x, fluoride and CO in cement industry all over China came to 520.69×10

4 t, respectively. Air pollutants emissionsinShandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei and Guangdong Provinces was relatively larger which accounted for 46.6% of the total emissions all over the country. Furthermore, application and extension of new source performance standards (NSP) should contribute great to the reduction of emissions in the future.〖JP〗
