Abstract:
In order to verify the thermal treatment residue characteristics of DDT pesticide,a high temperature tube furnace was used to study the residues of the DDT in the slag and tail gas after thermal treatment under seven temperature levels (600-1200 ℃).The results showed that the removal efficiency of DDT (η
DDT) could reach 99% after thermal treatment with the temperature of 800 ℃,and it could reach up to 99.9% when the temperature of the furnace tube was 1100 ℃.DDT was the main pesticide residue in the slag.As the temperature rose, the percentage of p,p′-DDD in DDT in the slag increased at first but then decreased; the boundary temperature was 1000 ℃.As for the tail gas,p,p′-DDE was the main remnant, the percentage of which out of total DDT increased with the increase of temperature.Besides DDT,there were other organic compounds in the tail gas. When the temperature was below 600 ℃,aliphatic hydrocarbons were the predominant organic remains.Otherwise, there were both aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons in the tail gas under 700-900 ℃.In the range of 1000-1200 ℃,aromatic hydrocarbons became the main remains in the tail gas.
