Abstract:
With GIS and RS technologies, the characteristics of land use change in 11 national nature reserve areas in 2000 and 2010 in Guangdong Province were analyzed. Combining the modified coefficients of ecosystem service value and land use area, ecosystem service values of different years were estimated. The results showed that from 2000 to 2010, the areas of grassland, farmland, wetland, water body and construction land increased by 18.58,1.24,1.91,6.47 and 70.79 hm
2, respectively, while the areas of forest land and unused land decreased by 166.25 and 92.75 hm
2. Except for unused land, all ecosystem service values increased, among which ecosystem service values of water body and forest land increased by 728.07×10
7 CNY and 463.90×10
7 CNY, respectively. Multiple ecosystem service values increased, among which values of biodiversity maintenance, hydrological regulation and waste treatment increased most while values of food product increased least. Ecosystem service values in nature reserves increased by 1199.70×10
7 CNY from 2000 to 2010 (a rate of 28.02%), indicating that the protection and management of the national nature reserves were well conducted in Guangdong.
